- 500 gms MUSHROOs whole
- I cup flour
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp Paprika
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Oregano
- ¼ tsp Thyme
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix well flour, paprika, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Now add corn flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the water, stirring as you combine.
- In another bowl, add the bread crumbs.
- Now dip the mushrooms into the flour mixture and let the excess fall into the bowl. Then dip them into the bread crumbs until coated evenly.
- Repeat this with each mushroom and then place it on a tray, ready for frying.
- Preheat the cooking oil in a pan/wok over medium heat.
- When the oil is ready, fry the mushrooms a few at a time until golden and crispy.
- Then remove from the pan and place on a paper-lined dish to soak up excess oil.
